SchoolSafe® glazing is specifically designed and engineered to withstand active shooter threats facing our nation’s schools and higher education institutions. SchoolSafe® products provide tested and proven protection from gunfire and prolonged physical attacks. Unlike thin-film products, SchoolSafe® uses multiple bonded layers of glass, polycarbonate, and polyurethane to create a thick ForceShield™ that can withstand extensive abuse. It provides up to 20 additional minutes of protection from armed intruders. It is available in SchoolSafe® Standard, and SchoolSafe® Premium which adds an additional layer of protection with ForceShield™ Level 1 bullet resistance-the industry’s only bullet-resistant school safety glass. It is an excellent choice for both exterior and interior applications.
